Psicomagia
http://writingaboutmusic.blogspot.gr/2013/10/psicomagia-psicomagia-el-paraiso.html wrote:Psicomagia is a new group featuring Brian Ellis (not on guitar or synths but on saxophone) with a group of like-minded mates from San Diego. I think some of these folks also play in the improvsed Brian Ellis group. The spoken words are all in Spanish as are all the song titles. The music is mostly instrumental very intense...I have to say this is some of the absolutely most intense effected organ and synth playing I have ever heard, this Tyler Daughn is fucking unreal. He gives the music a total head fuck! The last track Simplón is a bit more composed and less of a full on freakout but no less intense. This one hell of a record to sit through and you need to hear some pretty mellow stuff afterwards but I am fully ready for the next trip! Awesome.

The Flying Eyes
http://theflyingeyes.bandcamp.com/album/leave-it-all-behind-sessions wrote:"…The Flying Eyes appeared and cast their hypnotic power over the crowd.”
The Flying Eyes are a heavy, psychedelic rock band hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. Their name comes from a 1962 science fiction novel about giant, disembodied eyes that descend from outer space to control humanity.

Twink & The Technicolour Dream
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZjEpaYDjM4 wrote:Having played with Tomorrow, The Pretty Things, and The Pink Fairies, John "Twink" Alder will require no introduction to fans of underground rock. This mind-expanding new album finds him collaborating with highly regarded Italian psychedelic rockers, "The Techicolour Dream". Recorded in Rome, mastered at Abbey Road, it's sure to delight all lovers of psychedelic rock. The album is fresh psychedelic folk with acid space referrals from the beginning to the end. A dark edge in some songs, is there to keep the whole album mysterious. Twink's great vocals, with Marco Conti's aid, (also on bass) give the ethereal trippy psychedelic tone. Fabio Porretti's electric guitar gives the acid note to the whole album exceptionally, with his acoustic guitar keeping the psychedelic folk element in high standards. Last but not least Luciano Pavia on drums aided and assisted by Twink is completing the whole picture. If i had heard this LP without having any information i wouldn't believe it is something made now. But then again John Alder comes from the beginnings of psychedelic history; in fact he's one of the milestones that never seize to amaze us with his inspiration, with a great choice of collaborators.

Violet Woods
https://www.facebook.com/thevioletwoods/info?tab=page_info wrote:Violet Woods was formed in Cambridge in 2011, stemming from the desire to explore sounds of 60s London psychedelia and Nuggets compilations. By juxtaposing the 12 string jangle of the Byrds with surf basslines and rolling beats, they impart their own take on this period while bringing it into the present with Stereolab / Broadcast flavoured retro synth vibes and ghostly vocals.

The Soundtrack of Our Lives
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Soundtrack_of_Our_Lives wrote:The Soundtrack of Our Lives, often abbreviated T.S.O.O.L., was a Swedish rock band that was formed in Gothenburg in 1995 and disbanded in 2012. All lyrics are sung in English. The band's style draws heavily on sixties and seventies punk and rock, such as Rolling Stones and Iggy and the Stooges. Psychedelic rock forms another strong influence, and psychedelic and mystical references are also prominent in the band's lyrics and aesthethics. The abbreviation 'OEOC', which features on all their albums, refers to the phrase "as above, so below" from Hermeticism.[1][2]

The four-piece have recently finished writing and recording their debut EP in the inner west Surgery house, which the band occupied over the course of several years. Psychedelic movements, which are sometimes spaghetti western and other times hypo-groove

Ummagma
https://www.facebook.com/ummagma/info?tab=page_info wrote:Ummagma is a Canadian-Ukrainian duo delivering an eclectic yet harmonious potpourri of sublime resonance, beats and rhythm. McLarnon’s delicate airy gossamer-like vocals are often compared to Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins) with glimmers of Stereolab, The Sundays, Curve, Nathalie Merchant and Slowdive. Kretov's spellbinding potion of guitar, vocals, synths, beats, programming & effects create impeccable soundscapes with elements of Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Bill Nelson and Brian Eno to help the listener take flight.

http://writingaboutmusic.blogspot.gr/2011/03/good-morning-sister-rain-kommun212.html wrote:The Malmö based vinyl only label is back with a new release. This release features label owner Tobias as well as the members of the Technicolor Poets and female vocalist. The A side is a album side version of the Pentangle song, House Carpenter. I really like their version a lot although I think the vocal is mixed a bit high at times. It features some really nice fuzz guitar. A very cool version and great song. The LP title track, Sister Rain starts the B side with some organ and spoken words before the track really takes off into a nice psychedelic jamming track that reminds me a lot of the UK band, the Higher Craft, but the singer is not as intense as Christina and the track a little less together. They mix in some nice spaced out synth sounds here and there, which I like. I am sorry that I have to refer to the female singer has her, but the LP has no information about who plays in this band and I can not find anything on the internet either. The LP ends with the shortest track on the LP, Morrigan. It features some very nice guitar playing and bit darker feeling than the other two tracks. A solid psych rock record from the young Swedish musicians. The record is released in a very nice thick gatefold sleeve with great artwork by Peter Wallgren. It is pressed in 500 copies on 140 gram vinyl.
My Brother the Wind
http://www.last.fm/music/My+Brother+the+Wind wrote:My Brother The Wind is a kick ass psychedelic rock oriented project formed in Åmål, Sweden in 2009. The band consists of Nicklas Barker (Anekdoten) on guitar, Mathias Danielsson (Makajodama, and formerly of Gösta Berlings Saga) also on guitar, Ronny Eriksson (Magnolia) on bass and Tomas Eriksson on drums. The idea is to record albums out of the blue, totally improvised and with no previous rehearsals. Twilight In The Crystal Cabinet was recorded in two hours in 2009 and mixed in real time the day after.
