Tillett was the frontman in Australian bands The Wet Taxis, Paris Green and The Aspersion Caste. He has also worked as a backing musician with Catfish, former The Saints guitarist Ed Kuepper's group The Laughing Clowns, the New Christs and Tex Perkins.[1]

The Wet Taxis, helming from Sydney, first toured Melbourne in February 1984. Hailed as sporting an American garage-style psychedelic sound, they covered bands such as MC5, Moving Sidewalks and Unrelated Segments.[2]

The band were described by Sydney Morning Herald as one "of the most popular bands in the Australia's indie scene" in an article reminiscing over their then record label, the Britain-based Australian independent label Hot Records.[3]

In March 1984, the Sydney Morning Herald reported on the release of an acoustic-based three-track single (EP), "Carnival of Souls", by No Dance. Each track was contributed by one of the members of the group: Tillett, Damien Lovelock of The Celibate Rifles and Brett Myers of Died Pretty.[1][4]

The God Machine were an alternative rock band, active in the first half of the 1990s. Its members were all from San Diego, California, United States, but they all lived and performed mainly in the United Kingdom and across Europe.
The band consisted of three members, Robin Proper-Sheppard (born Gary Sheppard) (guitar/vocals), Jimmy Fernandez (bass) and Ronald Austin (drums), and they first performed officially under the name The God Machine in 1991. They released an EP, Purity with the Eve record label, and were later given a recording contract with Fiction Records. They released two albums in their career, both with their trademark dark and industrial-sounding alternative rock, before Fernandez suddenly died from a cancerous brain tumour. Their single release of "Home", peaked at No. 65 in the UK Singles Chart in January 1993.[1] Proper-Sheppard went on to form The Flower Shop Recordings label, and bands Sophia and The May Queens.
Their second album, One Last Laugh in a Place of Dying, was recognized by Alternative Press as one of the "90 greatest albums of the 90s" (#88) in their December 1998 issue.[citation needed]
Their earlier San Diego incarnation was called Society Line, and also featured guitarist Albert Amman, who left the band before its move to London.

Slint was an American rock band consisting of Brian McMahan (guitar and vocals), David Pajo (guitar), Britt Walford (drums), Todd Brashear (bass on Spiderland) and Ethan Buckler (bass on Tweez). They formed in Louisville, Kentucky, United States in 1986 and disbanded following the recording of their second album, Spiderland, in 1990.
The band reformed to play a number of live shows in 2005 and 2007, though they released no new material.

The Fatal Shore is a Berlin-based band formed in 1996, by the getting together of two unique but complimentary Singer/songwriters - Phil Shoenfelt and Bruno Adams - for a hectic tour of war-ravaged Bosnia- Herzegovina. While en-route to Gorazde, they came under fire from Serbian snipers and were attacked by axe wielding mujahadeen in delnice. Under the motto, “what doesn’t killer you makes you stronger” they expanded the partnership into a full band with the adding of Chris Hughes on drums, and later, bass player Yoyo Rφhm in 2001.

Sean Greenway passed away on Sunday 21st January 2001 and Tim Hemensley on 21st July 2003. Both of a heroin overdose.
