White Manna - Dune Worship (2013)
powerful fresh space rock from California
http://whitemanna.bandcamp.com/http://www.holymountain.com/artists/white-manna/ wrote:“Transformation” channels prime-time Hawkwind, evoking that sense of zooming headlong in endless flight with your every atom buzzing. Like the best space-rock songs, it intensifies and ascends ever higher as it goes. “X-Ray”’s staunch, towering riffs are as foreboding as the next report from the EPA. This is White Manna’s idea of a power ballad… until it accelerates in the last minute and leaves you blissfully charred. The speedy yet smooth “I’m Comin’ Home” should be the recurring theme for that impossible sequel to Easy Rider, while the 10-minute “Illusion Of Illusion” simmers with astral, meditative menace. It’s a massive, billowing specimen of rock that glows like the earth’s inner core. Their most cosmic track, “Illusion” might be White Manna’s peak. The epic finale, “Solar Returns,” is as majestic and momentous of a climax as you’d expect from these profound pros, whose singleness of purpose remains irrepressible and righteous.
The Lucid Dream - 2013 - Songs of Lies and Deceit

Lumerians - The High Frontier (2013)
descent new album with an even better cover ! unfortunately it doesn't continue as good as it begins (listen below to "Dogon Genesis")
http://lumerians.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lumerians wrote:The band was founded by Tyler Green, Marc Melzer, Jason Miller and Chris Musgrave in 2006.[1] Multi-instrumentalist Luis Vasquez joined in 2008.[10] Early rehearsals and recordings were produced in San Francisco, but the group has since relocated to Oakland.[1] They have their own recording studio in a converted church in Oakland, California.[1] The band's sound was influenced by groups such as Sonic Youth, Krautrock groups such as Can and Neu!, and African and South American Psych music from the 1960s and 1970s.[1] In mid-2011 Vasquez left the group to focus on his project The Soft Moon[11] The Lumerians have worked with vocalist Rebecca Coseboom.[12] Coseboom and the Lumerians did the track Separate Half on the EP entitled The Answer EP by Unkle.[13] They performed in 2010 in Brooklyn with the Butthole Surfers.[14] Lumerians released their first full length LP, Transmalinnia in March 2011. In July 2012, Lumerians released their second LP, a collection of instrumental spontaneous compositions titled "Transmissions from Telos Vol. IV." "Transmissions" was released as a limited 300 edition transparent vinyl by French label Hands in the Dark in Europe and an edition of 500 (150 transparent sea blue and 350 Bone) on Permanent Records in the US. In late November and early December 2012, Lumerians completed their first European tour, ending the year with the release of the Horizon Structures EP on Knitting Factory Records. A limited 500 edition vinyl of Horizon Structures is packaged with "4D Transdimensional portal viewing glasses" for viewing the video for "The Bloom," shot in ChromaDepth. Lumerians released LP The High Frontier in May 2013 in the UK and Europe, supported by performances in UK, France, Netherlands and Belgium. The album was released August 2013 in the US, coinciding with a series of dates supporting My Bloody Valentine on the second half of their US tour.
Nosound - Afterthoughts (2013)
νεος ωραιος (λιγο μονοτονος) ambient δισκος απο το ιταλικο neoprog συγκροτημα
http://nosound.net/bio.html wrote:Regarded by critics and fans alike as one of the most interesting up and coming alt/art rock bands in Europe, Nosound inventively combines influences from '70s psychedelia, '80s/'90s ambient and contemporary alternative, progressive and post rock. The project started as a one man studio project in late 2002 by Giancarlo Erra, but has since grown into a five piece band, evolving into something unique, focused and powerful. The music is evocative and intense, with personal songwriting. Influences range from Pink Floyd to Brian Eno, from Porcupine Tree to Sigur Ros, passing through rock and electronic/ambient.

http://www.woodsist.com/catalog/12/herbcraft-the-astral-body-electric/ wrote:Three years on from the initial Herbcraft blurt, this third Herbcraft LP sees a full blossoming of sonic seeds sown in previous wax transmissions. Once the isolationist bedroom-psych project of Matt Lajoie, the intervening years have found Herbcraft sprawling out in many different full-band incarnations–duo, trio, quartet, sextet–for tours and heady super-sessions at their HQ in Maine. The Astral Body Electric finds the most enduring lineup of the band at its peak: songs half-composed, half-improvised, and played with freewheeling first-take intensity. Recorded direct to tape by Doug Tuttle (Mmoss) in an 18th-century New England barn, the focus on analog recording techniques (spring reverb, tape delay, hands-on flange) captures the Herbcraft soundworld in its most-natural habitat. Matt’s unhinged electric guitar swirls around Dawn Aquarius’ wah’ed organ riffs, Nicholas Barker’s kosmische-inspired drums and synth, and Corinna Marshall’s trilled-out flute and circular bass, complete with nebulous group vocals and auxiliary support from Doug (Mmoss) and Aaron Neveu (Woods). “Aurally massaged” into the 4th dimension by Matt “MV” Valentine with his signature “Spectrasound” mastering technique, The Astral Body Electric is psychedelic, mantric, free-rock music for the mind and body, and the most expansive, fully-realized, and confident Herbcraft record yet.

The Dolly Rocker Movement
http://badafro.dk/artists/the-dolly-rocker-movement wrote:The Dolly Rocker Movement formed in late 2002 in the inner surrounds of Sydney, Australia. They are influenced by late 60´s garage, psychedelia and West coast folk. The charismatic band leader Daniel Poulter writes beautiful and well-crafted songs and beneath the psychedelic and colourful surface The Dolly Rocker Movement is simply a great pop band with a destinctive sound of their own.
