The Creepy Creeps
χαχα γαμω τα παιδια ! απο Σαν Ντιεγκο Καλιφορνια με σερφαδικες κιθαρες , τρελο οργανακι και right attitude
http://www.sandiegoreader.com/bands/creepy-creeps/ wrote:
The Creepy Creeps is made up of players from bands such as the Locust, Struggle, and Tarantula Hawk. The band usually dresses in mariachi clothes, with skulls painted on their faces.
Mixing punk and garage rock with surf music, their first album in 2006 came out on U.K.’s Inka label. Being vinyl fans, their records so far have all had wax editions.
The Prisoners
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Prisoners wrote:The Prisoners were a band who formed in 1980 in Rochester, Kent,[3] England. Their 1960s garage sound made them a regular live fixture in London's underground "psychedelic revival" and "mod revival" scene of the early 1980s. They often toured with The Milkshakes, who included Billy Childish on guitar. The Prisoners' sound combined catchy, retro-flavoured melodies, punky guitar riffs, a Steve Marriott-esque vocal style and a lead instrument of the then-unfashionable Vox Continental Organ. The Prisoners never met with much commercial success during their original lifespan, but have latterly been likened to The Jam and The Charlatans. Tim Burgess of the Charlatans has cited the Prisoners as a major influence.[citation needed]

Bad Indians
http://cqrecords.com/album/bad-indians-are-on-the-other-side wrote:"Bad Indians have consistently churned out intriguing hazy haunts that struck a fine balance between raw garage thump and pretty psychedelic shimmer. Promising as their first handful of 7” singles, EPs and live/demo-culling full lengths proved, “Are On The Other Side” is their true arrival, their clearest statement. Their songwriting, their chemistry and the production are respectively confident, bonded and crisp. Choppily riffed guitars with a tinny timbre fierily snake their way over a primal boogie bass line and minimalist percussive shuffle and stomp while the stellar wheeze of an organ whips at the edges. Dash in the jangly spices of tambourines and harmonicas and proclivities for off-the-rails solos and trippy atmospherics, but assure the predominance of the pop-minded hook, the steady swaying groove, the alluring melody, the eerily-beautifully matched boy-girl harmonies. Snug the headphones closely and keen in on that weird sense for wobbly, reverb-slathered pop, and that’s where you’ll find Bad Indians signature, curtained in the dazzling murk and buzzing jumble of those familiar psyche-rock sensibilities (whatever psyche-rock is today, anyway). Step over to the other side already and find out just what a potential reinvention of said-psyche could sound-like."

Wild Whiskers
http://wildwhiskers.bandcamp.com/ wrote:The band was born in 2011. The first line-up with Luigi Sisto at the bass, Antonio Nocca guitar/vox and Dario D'Introno drums was joined by the passion for garage punk, surf and rock'n'roll music. At the beginning of 2012 the line-up changed and Fabrizio Strippoli started to play the bass. The first EP 'Wild Whiskers' came out in October 2013.

The Mystic Tide
Α-ΠΑ-ΡΑΙ-ΤΗ-ΤΟ !
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystic_Tide wrote:The Mystic Tide were an American rock band who have been credited for creating some of the first psychedelic anthems.[1] They have also been called one of the best garage bands of the mid 1960s.[2]
The group formed on Long Island and released a total of four singles between 1965 and 1967, all of which were written by the band's guitar player, Joe Docko. The band broke up in 1967 after little commercial success.[2] Many years later in 1994 Docko recorded some new material and that along with three demos, the band's four original singles, and their B-sides would be put out as a CD by Distortions records. Released more than 25 years after the group had disbanded, Solid Sound/Solid Ground, was the first and only album the band ever made.[3][4]

The Satelliters
http://www.allmusic.com/artist/satelliters-mn0000496846/biography wrote:Inspired by their love for 50's B-movies, The Satelliters started in 1993 with a nasty romp of drunken, three-chord garage punk for the intentions of "freaking people out." Accompanied by their masked stage presence and the garb of aging hipsters, the band's debut full-length Hi Karate was released in 1996 with the financial assistance of Dionysus Records. Dipping into their huge discography (which includes a number of singles and EPs on Demolition Derby, Pin-up and Screaming Apple Records) Dionysus released four more CDs in the States over the next eight years, including Wylde Knights of Action in 1997, Shake, Shake, Shake in 1998, Sexplosive in 2001, and Hashish in 2005. Continuing to add to their overflowing catalog of psychedelic 60's garage rock, the label put out The Satelliter's self-titled EP in 2006, which would be followed with Where Do We Go? in 2007.

The band plays music influenced by the MC5, The Stooges, Roky Erikson, The Cramps, The Ramones, New York Dolls and other early garage rock and punk bands. The Nomads have been an influential band in the Scandinavian garage rock and punk scenes, inspiring bands such as The Hives, Hellacopters, Gluecifer, and many others.

Robert Johnson and Punchdrunks
https://www.facebook.com/RobertJohnsonandPunchdrunks/info wrote:Biography
However relief is at hand in the shape of Robert Johnson and Punchdrunks. Why this guy isn't feted across the globe is a gross miscalculation on the part of alleged music fans. Robert is a visionary and an amazing guitar player. His cinematic electronica with shards of surf drags music into the 22nd century and one can only hope that folks will have the gumption to get on board. This was a triumphant performance and he banished the rock demons from next door into abject redundancy. If you haven't heard this guy then check him out now. Don't even read the rest of this now just go to his site. We aren't going anywhere, here's a passout * I'll wait here until you come back* Lindsey Hutton Next Big Thing Scotland June 2006

The Eliminators
http://www.theeliminators.com/ wrote:For nearly 20 years, The Eliminators have remained a critically acclaimed Southern California surf instrumental band. They have helped lead a resurgence of interest in surf instrumental music that was popular during the early 1960s by staying true to the sound while giving the music a modern twist. Internet surf music guru Phil Dirt (www.reverbcentral.com) noted that The Eliminators “…understand the genre like guys who were there in ’62…Incredibly powerful, masterfully-performed genuine surf for the [present day] and beyond!”
All four band members have a common interest in surfing, and the fun, dynamic sounds of early 1960’s surf music. The band uses authentic, vintage Fender guitars and amplifiers to get that unmistakable sound unique to guitar-driven surf instrumental music.

Cherry Choke
https://www.facebook.com/cherrychoke/info wrote:Rumoured to be named after a Victorian prostitute with a very unique talent, Cherry Choke play heavy psychedelic rock. Think! Blue Cheer fighting it out with Baby Woodrose as the Jimi Hendrix Experience look on from the bar. Think! Molten guitars hyped up on cheap fuzz with an untutored yet soulful vocal courtesy of (ex The Kings Of Frog Island and Josiah) frontman Mathew Bethancourt. Think! Heavy Gibson bass grooves from Gregg Hunt (Obscure Ivresse) and a furious Keith Moon drum attack from Dan Lockton.
The amazing debut album (released by Elektrohasch 2009) set the standard. A blend of heavy psych mastery and new song craft introduced the band to the underground rock scene. High octane live shows in the UK and Europe with the likes of Colour Haze did not dissapoint those in need of a true power trio.
The second album from Cherry Choke “A night in the arms of Venus… leads to a lifetime on Mercury” released by Elektrohasch September 2011 sees the band marching on into the shadows of late-60’s psychedelia and flourishing. This concept album follows the journey of a hard living Victorian gent with an eye for the syphilitic ladies of the night, through to his final Mercury ridden twisted end.

The Urges
http://www.last.fm/music/The+Urges wrote:The Urges: five men, their names are not important now, but what is, is the sound that those five men create.
Starting out in Dublin as a raw & primitive garage band it didn’t take long for their racket to catch the locals attention. After releasing their first single “(Around &) Around” in 2007 the ears of international promoters began listening. They have since toured extensively throughout Europe, the U.S. & beyond. It was on one of these excursions to New York City ( to play with the legendary Sonics) where they caught the attention of Steve Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records.
