Loudest Whisper are an Irish folk rock/progressive folk group formed in the early 1970s and led by songwriter and guitarist Brian O'Reilly. They are best known for their 1974 debut album, The Children of Lir, a folk opera based on the Irish legend of the same name. The original LP release of the album became one of the most sought after records in Ireland, and ranks among the top 100 rarest records in the world.

Loudest Whisper made several albums and over a dozen singles. The group became dormant in the mid-1980s, but reformed in the mid-1990s with a revival of The Children of Lir. They released a new album in 2004.

Hailing from Boston in the late sixties, Phluph recorded their one and only album for the Verve record label before drifting off into obscurity. One wonders why such a talented group never achieved success in the music industry. Perhaps Verve, being a predominatly jazz based label, did not know how to promote the band properly. Or perhaps it was because Phluph were part of the ill-fated "Bosstown Sound" scene which caused such a furore in the music industry at that time.

Ford's Theater was the place where Abraham Lincoln was murdered. They chose this name to present themselves as a voice of the present (at least the present 40 years ago, where the Vietnam War was at the highest pick and Kennedy had just been assassinated). A Present filled with assassinations and violence. This was the main idea expressed on the liner notes of the Album, and idea amplified by the fact that all the lyrics are in the second Person, talking directly to You (or Us). Ford Theatre was formed from the ashes of a Boston-based Band (Joyful Noise) and a Composer called Harry Palmer, when the latter saw them play on a College, and decided they were the ones who could bring his Ideas to life, slowly he became a Member of the Band and the Name was changed accordingly. By the Summer of 67 the Band was already playing under this moniker and in the Setlist was already Trilogy For The Masses, which caused a big sensation on a DJ from Boston called Dick Summers and who got them the deal with ABC Records. Trilogy was recorded in two takes with the Band playing the Setlist continuously as if they were playing a Live Concert.

Du Cann (guitar), along with Mick Hawksworth (bass) and Jack Collins (drums), recorded a psychedelic rock project named THE FIVE DAY WEEK STRAW PEOPLE, being a concept album much praised by collectors nowadays. After recording this project, the three decided to form a band, who was called ANDROMEDA.

Glass Top Coffin was recorded in London, following Ramases and Selket relocating to Felixstowe, and they never produced another album.^[4][6][7] He died in 1978 but his death was not widely reported in musical circles until the early 1990s.^[3][8][9]
