Along with dates with Wavves, Titus Andronicus, and Best Coast, Baldi began work on Cloud Nothings' full-length debut in Baltimore, Maryland’s Copycat Building studio with producer Chester Gwazda. The results of those sessions became Cloud Nothings, which arrived in January 2011. Later that year, Baldi and his band went into the studio with Steve Albini; the result of these sessions was 2012's much rawer, heavier Attack on Memory. That July, the Live @ the Grog Shop EP, which captured a particularly blistering set from Cloud Nothings' tour, was released. Following the completion of their heavy touring schedule, Baldi took some time to put the finishing touches on new material. Soon after, the band headed into a Hoboken, New Jersey studio with producer John Congleton to lay down tracks for the trio's fourth album, Here and Nowhere Else, which arrived in 2014.

The album was shelved and remained in the vault until Cash’s son John Carter Cash stumbled across the recordings in 2012 and, joined by co-producer Steve Berkowitz and musicians Marty Stuart, Buddy Miller, and Carlene Carter, restored the album for release.

Tiny Ruins is the folk-pop project of New Zealand native Hollie Fullbrook. On May 5th, she’ll release her second full-length and Bella Union debut, Brightly Painted One. Promising to fall ”between dream pop and folk-blues”, the album was recorded over several months with engineer Tom Healy in Auckland.

“Me At The Museum, You In The Wintergardens” is the first taste of the LP and finds Fullbrook joined by Cass Basil and drummer Alexander Freer. Though paced by lightly fingerpicked acoustic guitars, brushed percussions, and understated upright bass, the song’s real strength comes from Fullbrook’s wistfully soothing voice and yearning lyrics.

To preserve the emotion and intensity of a live performance all of these tracks were left unedited as complete performances with only minimal overdubs. Another notable part of this project was that it was recorded and mixed as a mono EP. The reason for this was as Schneider puts it is: "In a day of modern recording practices I wanted to create an album of songs that harkened back to an older time. To create something real, whole, and representative of what happens live on stage. I feel I have done just that."
